Dr. Jinhan Mo earned his Ph.D. in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning from Tsinghua University and did Postdoctoral research in Inorganic Chemistry at Tsinghua University. He is now the distinguished Professor at the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Shenzhen University. He was a tenured associate professor in the Department of Building Science at Tsinghua University. His research interests include the mass transfer of gaseous or solid-phase contaminants on indoor surfaces and risk assessment of air pollution with respect to public health. He has authored more than 100 journal papers, including Small, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, Environ. Sci. & Technol., Chemical Engineering Journal, Building and Environment, Environmental Health Perspective, with more than 3900 citations (WoS, 2023-1231, updated). Besides, he has authored 4 books and 4 book chapters, and more than 20 patents (16 authorized).

Dr. Jinhan MO is the recipient of some awards and honors, including the Yaglou Award (2016) from the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ) for being the most promising young (under age of 37) researcher in the field of indoor air science, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2023) and National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars (2017) of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), First Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award (Ranking 3/15), Natural Science Award (first class, ranking 5/5) by China Ministry of Education (2010), Prof. He Xinzhou Award for academic excellence from the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences (2017), Prof. Xia Anshi Award for academic excellence in the field of HVAC&R in China.

He serves as the Subject Editor of Building Simulation; Engineering Associate Editor of National Science Open, Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports, Atmosphere, Energy and Built Environment, Journal of HV&AC (in Chinese), and Journal of Appliance Science & Technology (in Chinese). He is the academy fellow of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (FISIAQ), and a member of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ) Scientific and Technical Committee: Air cleaning (STC 22). He is the vice-secretary (2017-present) of Indoor Environment and Health Branch of the Chinese Society for Environmental Science, and president (2017-2019) of the Youth Committee of Indoor Environment and Health Branch of the Chinese Society for Environmental Science.

莫金汉,男,博士,1999-2009年在清华大学学习,获清华大学供热通风与空气调节工程专业学士(2003)、和博士学位(2009),师从张寅平教授。现任深圳大学土木与交通工程学院特聘教授,他曾是清华大学建筑学院建筑技术科学系长聘副教授,建筑环境与设备研究所副所长,清华大学建筑环境检测中心空气室主任。2009-2011年在清华大学化学系从事博士后工作,合作导师李亚栋院士。2005-2006年赴丹麦技术大学国际室内环境与能源研究中心学术交流。

莫金汉目前的研究方向是建筑环境室内空气污染的界面传递与分离,在空气污染控制方面取得了一些成绩。主持了国家自然科学基金杰出青年基金(杰青)、优秀青年基金(优青)、面上基金,国家“十四五”“十三五”重点研发课题、“十二五”科技支撑计划子课题,中国航天员科研与训练中心重大攻关项目等50余项。参编了1项国际标准,6项国家或行业标准,包括国际IEC空气净化器标准,国标《空气净化器》GB/T 18801-2015,行标《环境标志产品-空气净化器标准》HJ 2544-2016,国标《电子工业废气处理工程设计规范》GB 51401-2019,国标《加湿器》GB/T 23332,行标《汽车内饰产品污染物控制技术要求》。出版学术著作5本,外文著作4章;发表SCI收录的期刊论文100余篇。研究成果被SCI他引3500余次。应邀在Energy & Environment (E&E) International Conference (Seoul)等国际会议上做特邀报告6次。

他担任国际期刊Building Simulation的领域主编,National Science Open工程板块Associate Editor;担任国际期刊Scientific Reports、Atmosphere、Energy and Built Environment编委,国内期刊《暖通空调》编委、《家电科技》编委,任国际标准IEC/ISO CD 63086, Air Cleaner 工作组专家和SWG6 新风净化设备工作组主席。国际室内空气科学院Fellow。担任国际室内空气学会空气净化学组委员,中国环境科学学会室内环境与健康分会副秘书长(2017-今)和青年委员会主任(2017-2019)。获国际室内空气质量科学院“Yaglou Award”雅格鲁奖(2016)(此奖项是国际室内空气质量科学院专门为表彰该领域作出突出贡献的青年学者而设立的,是大陆科研人员第一次获得这个荣誉,也是该奖项自90年代设置以来的第八位获奖者)、北京市科技进步奖一等奖(2021,排名第3),教育部自然科学一等奖(2010,排名第5);上海交通大学夏安世教授奖,中国环境科学学会 青年科技奖(2012),中国环境科学学会 室内环境与健康分会 何兴舟青年学术奖(2017)等奖励。
